Advocacy project:
To be frank, I probably haven’t given as much thought to this project as I should have been. I have been wrapped up in the essay part and I just keep on putting this off. On the other hand I know what I don’t really want to do. I don’t really want to do another written component because welllllllll that’s kinda what the essay is about. Then I don’t think I am capable of putting together a video that is very well done (I just don’t have the technological knowhow to make a cool one Image may be NSFW.

) and so what does that leave me with?
At one of the meetings with Billy it randomly popped into my head that it would be interesting to do a comic strip. I have been thinking about it a little bit. It would be a challenge because it would involve some very choice wording and drawing to get the message across but it has potential to be an effective medium for advocacy. Plus I’ll never know if I don’t try right?
I still have to think about my exact message. That will be the toughest part. What am I trying to get people to do by making them read a comic strip? I have thought about that specific message as well but I don’t want to talk too much about it because I don’t want to give it away just yet especially because it is not totally clear in my head.
So there you have it. I have my work cut out for me as I am sure we all do.
